Contract Drafting & Review
Although most employees today do not have a collective bargaining agreement or other written employment contract, in some situations employers may benefit from written employment agreements with certain employees.
Drafting Employment Agreements
Employment agreements should be custom-tailored for each particular situation.
How We Can Help
The attorneys of Harris Dowell Fisher & Young, L.C., all have extensive experience preparing a variety of employment agreements. These include executive employment and compensation, sales compensation, noncompete, confidentiality, consulting, and independent contractor agreements, as well as collective bargaining agreements.
We have ready access to an assortment of previous employment agreements, so we do not start from scratch each time.
Employment Contract Review and Revision
At times, contract drafts are initially presented by another party. While they may sound reasonable when read by a nonlawyer, review by expert counsel often discloses significant areas that can be improved by negotiating modifications and additions to better protect the interests of the party that did not draft the original agreement. This is as true with an employment agreement as with any other contract.
The attorneys of Harris Dowell Fisher & Young, L.C. are available to perform such contract reviews, and to suggest and negotiate improvements in employment agreements.
